How It Started
In 2015, we were on vacation in Monterey, CA. We brought a camera my wife had purchased for her art class and were on a whale-watching boat ride. I held onto it after a bit and tried to watch the birds to catch a whale breaching. And well, I did. And that's how it started.
How It's Going
How It's Going
It's going! I'm a sports photographer for a local college, with an agreement that the college hosts my photos so that everyone will have free access to full-resolution photos. No paywalls here, no entering emails to get access, just grab what you like! I'm also a nature photographer and have submitted over 100 different species of animals and insects in the Linn County, Iowa area to iNaturalist.
